At Espe Chiropractic Health Center we pride ourselves on providing the finest hands-on chiropractic services first and foremost. We pride ourselves on treating all of our patients with the highest standard of care. This means treating every patient thoroughly and in a very personalized and individual manner. We also strive to do so in an affordable fashion, without expensive care plans or unnecessary services and charges. In order to accommodate the hectic schedules of today, extensive hours are available; including late night appointments (open as late as 10:00pm).
Meet Our Team
Dr. Scott Espe
Dr. Espe was born and raised in Minnesota and attended Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC (Class of 1982) before settling in this region to practice chiropractic. He quickly fell in love with the area and has proudly served the region out of his office, located in Mundy’s Corner, for over 30 years. In addition to his vast experience, Dr. Espe has built a strong reputation based upon providing individualized, effective, hands on chiropractic care for each and every patient.
In addition to traditional and family chiropractic, Dr. Espe has added training and expertise in the field of sports chiropractic. His great deal of additional training, has earned him a certification in Chiropractic Sports Medicine, from the ICA Council on Fitness and Sport Health Science. Outside of the office, Dr. Espe is very active in the local community. He has a long history of involvement in the local schools, especially concerning scholastic and youth athletics. Dr. Espe remains a fitness enthusiast himself, as he enjoys weight training to keep himself healthy and fit.
Dr. Jon R. Skupaka
Dr. Jon Skupaka was born and raised in nearby Northern Cambria, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Northern Cambria High School before attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania for his undergraduate studies. Initially Dr. Jon had planned to study to become a math teacher, but quickly changed his major after becoming a patient of Dr. Espe’s and seeing firsthand what chiropractic can do. He went on to graduate with honors from IUP in 2008 with a B.S. in Biology.
Following the recommendations of Dr. Espe, Dr. Jon then enrolled at Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Sherman College in 2012 and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree (DC). Upon completing his studies he returned home to Pennsylvania to join the team at Espe Chiropractic Health Center.
Outside of the office, Dr. Jon resides in neighboring Indiana County with his wife and three year old daughter. In his free time he enjoys weight training and running to keep healthy and is also an avid sports fan.
