As a new patient at Espe Chiropractic, you will begin by checking in with our friendly staff at the front desk. You will be given a brief health history questionnaire to complete before seeing the doctor. This form can also be downloaded and filled out in the convenience of your own home by simply clicking the button below.

Next, you will undergo a consultation with one of our doctors in order to allow them to best serve you. They will likely ask you a series of questions, elaborating on your answers provided on the questionnaire. They may also conduct an examination or in rare circumstances refer you out of the office for imaging (x-rays, CT, MRI, etc.) if it is deemed necessary. All of these steps are in place with only patient health and safety in mind and therefore vary on a case by case basis. There is no additional fee or charge within our office for such procedures.

Finally, your doctor will begin their chiropractic examination in order to determine the true root of the problem. Once the doctor integrates all of the information that they gather,  they will then render specific chiropractic adjustments as needed. The doctor will likely provide suggestions in regards to follow up procedure, as well as any home care to help optimize healing.

Following your very first chiropractic adjustment, you may find immediate relief or you may find yourself to be a little sore or tender for up to 24 hours. This is normal, as it takes time for swelling and inflammation to subside and for the body to heal. It is important to let the doctor know how you feel following your adjustment, as it may help them in determining the appropriate course of care for you.
